ABOUT CONSULTOX LIMITED
Consultox Limited was established in 1984 by Dr. Richard A. Parent who has been the principal toxicologist since that time. Dr. Parent is board certified by the American Board of Toxicology, the Academy of Toxicological Science, the Regulatory Affairs Certification Board, and is a recognized expert in toxicology in France and the European Community. Since 1984, Consultox, through the services of Dr. Parent, has provided legal and technical support to both the legal profession and to industry.
Dr. Parent has provided litigation support as an expert witness toxicologist by giving testimony at deposition and trial, and providing case evaluations and consultations for both plaintiff and defense. He has an excellent knowledge of the causation criteria required by federal and many state courts, has written many causation reports that have withstood Daubert challenges, and he has lectured on the requirements of Daubert and Havner.
Dr. Parent has provided technical support to industry offering toxicology consulting and study design, placement and implementation, product safety, IND/NDA pharmaceutical submissions, international drug and cosmetic registration, toxicological support for product development, trade association representation, due diligence in mergers and acquisitions, and occupational safety assessment. He is certified in Regulatory Affairs and has dealt with issues involving OSHA, CPSC, FIFRA, TSCA, as well as the EEC.
